Don’t you hate it when your washer wobbles? Doesn’t it steam you when it starts shaking? It never does it when you’re close enough to it to open it up. No, it always when you’re upstairs, or in the shower, or otherwise occupied. Sometimes you’re not even home and you find out later that your washer decided to do some rearranging while you were out. It thought it would have better fengshi if it were pulled out 3 feet.

Well, now you can give your washer a permanent footing with Vibe Away Anti-Vibration Pads. It seems like such a little thing doesn’t it? But it is one of those products you see and wonder why it has taken this long for someone to find a solution for this problem. But it has and Vibe Away works to address the concerns of the walking washer.

The installation of the Vibe Away pads is easy and simple. Find a friend or loved one (Mrs. Green Gear in this case), have one of you lift each corner of the washer and place the Vibe Away pad under the small washer foot in the space provided on the vibe away. That’s it. it’s that simple. It’s also important to make sure your feet are locked and the washer is level, or as close to level as possible.

The green benefits for the vibe away pad are both fixed and variable. First, the pads are made from 100% recycled tires. We’ve reviewed a couple of other products made from tires before and seen varying degrees of quality. I can say that the people who made the other products, boot trays in this case, could learn something from the vibe away. It is as strong and sturdy as a hockey puck, and about the same size too. In addition to being made of recycled content, the pads absorb vibration and allow your washer to run more efficiently, so every time you use them you are extending the life of your washer and getting more use out of the resources it took to create it.

The price for these online is $25, which is about what I would expect to pay for something of this nature. There isn’t a similar product to compare this with in order to judge its value, but if you assume that this will make your washer 10-20% more efficient, allowing you to delay the purchase of a new one, as well as the benefit of having to keep your washer from dancing, I have no issue awarding this product a gear for value.

We’ve been using this product for a while, and I must admit that I didn’t have the biggest walking washer problem before, but it has happened. Since using this product Mrs. Green Gear has only reported one occasion where the washer was slightly wobbling. Rest assured, I will continue to test this product after the published review and report my results in the comments section. I’m also want to hear from others who have used this product. What are your experiences.

But, as I see it now, this is a quality, innovative product made of recycled content that helps you get longer life from your washer and peace and quiet at home.

I bought these hoping they would work.
My roper has been looked at by a service tech and they could not figure out why it shakes so bad. They could only guess it is because we have a “lower end model” which does not have all the bells and whistles which usually includes better springs / shocks. The tech did fix my washers transmission which sadly broke because of all the vibration. We had a huge oil leak so we know it really was a bad transmission. The tech recomended “silent feet” but no one has them in our area so we bought these instead.

I think this product needs a new “real world” review because the guy in the video even mentions that he didn’t really have a problem to start with!
Also… huge difference between a concrete floor (used in the video) which is very solid and stick built homes like ours… which sadly have much more vibration that emminates throughout the floor and walls.

We used these on the front feet only and that didn’t work. We then used them on the back and front feet at the same time and it still jumps around. Sigh..

I heard Silent Feet come with double stick tape… maybe I’ll try that next… all else fails… a sledgehammer.

BTW… yes the washer has been checked and rechecked several time for level.
