About Us
Mr. and Mrs. Green Gear
Green Gear is a website devoted to reviewing Environmentally Friendly products for the home.
We try to differentiate our reviews by looking at products practically, as most consumers will, and provide reviews that are honest, down to earth, and useful. Most of our reviews will include a video, candid photo, and quick write up. We also offer up commentary on environmental issues of the day.
We live and work in Columbus, Ohio. Mrs. Green Gear works in the public sector and Mr. Green Gear works for the man.
We met at The College of Wooster where Mr. Green Gear studied economics and Mrs. Green Gear majored in history. Mr. Green Gear also has an MBA from Ohio State.
We enjoy all sorts of hobbies, Mr. Green Gear can barely keep track of them all, but a few are painting, camping, hunting, photography, writing, beer brewing, shooting (pistol and rifle), and reading. We enjoy politics, history, and the arts.

Hi. Nice blog site. I noticed your site when googling low flow shower heads. We sell those, but I really wanted to tell you about is our NEW on/off aerators. They are the neatest and easiest way to save half the water while doing routine things like washing your hands. And, they’re cheap..under $10.00. Just thought you’d like more ideas.

I feel that Perf Go Green is the company of the future! I know their products are perfect yet but atleast they’re trying. I think companies such as walmart, kmart, Dart should use their products since these are the biggest companies out there that deal with plastic products!

I was curious if, when rating shower heads you take into account the temperature difference of the water from the shower head to your body. I have read that it can very up to 15 degrees and have experienced a significant drop in a shower head I tried myself. Thanks for the great reviews.
